Hello!

I look forward to working with both you and your students this semester and anticipate your participation in our classroom environment! A little bit about me: My name is Jocelynne Braddock I grew up in both Hagar Shore and Stevensville Michigan, a beach baby if you will, having spent many a summer on Lake Michigan. I graduated from Coloma High School and am also an alumni of Lake Michigan College with my Associates in the Arts. I graduated with my BA from Western Michigan University with a major in Secondary English Education and a minor in communication.

I've got big plans for this semester and it is my aim to make the semester fun and challenging in a format that will cause the class and I to grow and learn together as a unit. Feel free to check out my philosophy located at the "Philosophy" button at the top of the screen. There you will find a more in depth analysis of my teaching methods and goals. Also at any time during the semester you can contact me through the "Contact" button also at the top of the screen or at my cell phone number, (269) 235-2470. The contact is linked to my email address, however here it is again, jocelynne.l.braddock@wmich.edu, or my gmail account, almightyavocadovibrato@gmail.com. There will be a student lead blog segment that will be later updated by both the students and I that will give you a view into our class discussions, what we've been talking about pertaining to the literature and much more. I will also set up a blog for you below so you may voice any concerns, talk with other parents about what we're doing here, and talk to me in a sort of open forum that I will be updating weekly. Thank you for fostering brilliant minds and bringing them to my table, I can't wait to expand their minds even further into the wonderful world of langauge arts.
